Pop Art Exhibit: Britto, Kaufman, Max, and Warhol. Pop art is one of the few styles that remained figurative during its heyday in the 1950s and 60s when many genres of art making were abhorring the figure as conservative and outdated. This show will feature in the spotlight a triptych of three silkscreens that depict lovers, by the pop art legend Andy Warhol. Also shown will be a selection of works by his contemporaries, as well as by artists who assisted him in the production of his work (at the factory), and by those who were influenced by his art. Through July.
